Played at the Theatre Passe Muraille Bob Nasmith Backspace
March 29th-April 7th

Sam and Nic recently met online and believe they are destined to be together. After telling everyone he’s bought a one-way ticket to Fiji, Sam has joined Nic at his apartment for a romantic weekend getaway of home-cooked meals and get-to-know-you games. If all goes according to plan, this will be their first and last meeting. This true crime romantic comedy has shocked UK and Edmonton audiences over the past four years, and is now making its’ Toronto debut after a sold-out run at the Edmonton Fringe Festival.

Anthony Goncharov is an actor, producer, director, and (most importantly) Artistic Director of Icarus Theatre. He believes deeply in the craft of theatre, and hopes to build Icarus Theatre into a place where theatre artists can come to stretch their capabilities and tell beautiful stories. He believes that Fiji is a great step in that direction.

He would like to thank his partner, Emily, his parents, his friends, and of course, you, the audience.

It's very different than this show. In the past, she has worked on a few Fringe shows and a mainstage production of Tales of a City by the Sea. After working in corporate events for about a year, she decided design for live theatre was much more fun. She is debuting back into the Theatre world with today’s production. Enjoy!
