CALL FOR SUBMISSIONS: WILLIAM

Icarus Theatre is seeking submissions for the role of WILLIAM our production of Lobby Hero by Kenneth Lonergan. We are offering engagement under a DOT contract.

WHEN:

• Rehearsals November 9th - December 6th, 2022. Monday-Friday, 10-5.

• Performances December 7th-17th.

WHERE:

• Rehearsals at The Railpath Arts Centre, Toronto.

• Performances at The Alumnae Theatre, Toronto

​

THE ROLE:  William, an apartment building security captain and Jeff’s boss. A serious, disciplined, hard working, honest supervisor. He prides himself on taking responsibility and doing the right thing. He finds his values at question when asked to falsely testify for the innocence of his brother. Role requires smoking of herbal cigarettes. (Black. Late 20s - Mid 30s.)

The role is a leading part with excellent dramatic and comedic content.
